Deliverance: The Cast Looks Back


In 1972 director John Boorman adapted John Dickey’s chilling novel Deliverance, in which four privileged city boys come up against the primal power of nature as they attempt to navigate the treacherous  Cahulawassee river, seeking to ride the rapids before the whole area is flooded by dam construction, and evade the locals whose wrath they have incurred.

Last year, to mark the 40th anniversary of the Oscar nominated film, the four main players (Ned Beatty, Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds and Ronny Cox) were brought together to remember their experience filming on the treacherous river locations.  We have the video of that meeting for you below.
