Alcon, the company that has the rights to the Blade Runner sequel, is openly courting Harrison Ford to reprise his role as Deckard, the is he/isn’t he a Replicant Blade Runner, in a move akin to John Cusack’s Lloyd Dobler holding a boombox aloft:

“We believe that Hampton Fancher and Michael Green have crafted with Ridley Scott an extraordinary sequel to one of the greatest films of all time. We would be honoured, and we are hopeful, that Harrison will be part of our project.”
