Here’s a supercut from Kogonda, the guy who brought you Kubrick: One Point Perspective, on a similar stylistic tic by film maker Wes Anderson. In this short video, he demonstrates with a dotted line down the middle of the screen, Anderson’s preoccupation with symmetry. Even when the camera moves, perspective always settles down the centre (or center, if you’re American) of the screen.
